  • London.- British website Skyscanner said Facebook is playing an increasing part in the organization of group travel.
    "Facebook factor inspires 52% to book a holiday, reports Skyscanner. The social network with over 500 million users worldwide is not only helping people stay connected in the virtual world, but also influencing people’s travels in the real world, Skyscanner reveal.

    Bridgetown.- Barbados must do something to refresh, reinvent and reinvigorate its tourism product, said recently Colin Jordan, president of the Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association.

    Havana.- Cuba registered last January an international record of tourist arrivals to the Island.
    The National Statistics Office (NSO) said that in the first month of 2011, 222,296 visited the Caribbean country for a year-on-year growth of 15.9 percent.

    Havana.- Cuban genuine values were successfully presented at the 31st edition of the International Tourism Stock Market (BIT 2011) which took place recently at the Italian city of Milan.
